REVIEW: The Labor + Birth Prep Kit (Card Deck)
This is a complete refresh + expansion of the current Birth Preferences Card Set. It's a set of 61 cards (printed front + back) sized 3x5 inches, covering the following categories: Care providers, Birth spaces, Support team, Comfort measures, Interventions during labor, Interventions after birth — plus question and discussion guide cards to help spark meaningful conversations and deeper exploration of wants, needs, and specific situations.

Each category includes: a title card with a brief description of the category, cards for each item in each category with an image on one side and a brief description on the other side, 1/2 question or discussion guide cards.

Each card set will come in a light cardstock box that opens and closes at the top for added visual impact and ease of storage/protection for the cards once they're opened. Cards will still arrive sealed in plastic inside the box.

‍To help people fully understand how the card deck is intended to be used, we've added instructions. They'll be printed on light semi-glossy paper and inserted into the box folded 1-2 times. The primary set of instructions is directed toward parents-to-be using the set for themselves — an additional insert will be provided with instructions directed toward professionals using the set with clients.

Parents will also be offered free birth plan downloads (the QR code is not functional at this time). Professionals will be offered a discount on our membership (specifics of the offer not final at this time).
