We create reproductive health resources that reflect + connect with parents across a wide range of identities + journeys.
Since our start in 2016, we've received many heartfelt messages from parents and professionals who value our work but faced financial barriers. We've long made it a habit to discount and donate whenever possible. But now through The Educated Birth Foundation we can sustain, expand, and offer so much more.

a word from our community
Real people, real stories, real impact

"A clinic day does not pass without someone commenting on the images and saying something to the effect of “Wow, that looks like me” or "She has my hair"... When folks see themselves in a space, it creates a container of safety which is so important during such a vulnerable time like pregnancy and childbirth."

Jatolloa M. Davis, MSN, CNM, WHNP-BC

"I am a trans-identified nurse, working with people of many different bodies and experiences through pregnancy, childbirth and parenting. I never felt that our materials were representative of them, until I found Educated Birth. The way clients light up or feel seen when I show them the images in my binder has been really powerful. I now feel proud to use my teaching materials."

Ary Kerman, RN

"This work is creative and beautiful and inclusive - I would love to see it offered to a wider audience. The maternal health space needs exactly this kind of creative curious problem solvers. It means so much to birthing families to see themselves represented."
